Thrive ELC – Merrylands Childcare Centre

Thrive ELC – Merrylands, we provide a nurturing and supportive environment for all children. Our Learning for Life Curriculum uses play-based learning experiences which are supported by the Early Years Learning Framework.

Thrive ELC – Merrylands is conveniently located on Macfarlane Street within Stockland Shopping Centre.

Our qualified team of Educators and Teachers are passionate about maintaining a happy and safe environment where children can laugh, learn and grow.

All Thrive Early Learning Centres provide extra-curricular programs, such as language lessons and sports via our partners at GrowFit.

We accommodate all families, we’re open from 7am – 6pm and our fees are all inclusive of meals, nappies and wipes.

Thrive Merrylands is a natural home for kids. The educators are super committed to children development. Support is individualized, and tailored to meetthe specific needs of every child at the center. Many thanks to Jodie and the team for helping my son navigate these crucial years of his life. My son has speech delay and difficulties expressing his wants, mostly leading to behaviors of concern. My wife and I tried different childcare centers but lots of them could not accommodate his energy and challenging behaviors. We finally found a home for my son at Thrive Merrylands.The staff are not just workers , but real educators, they're thorough, they're family and very friendly and accommodate children of all backgrounds. They are person centered and focus on each child's specific needs to help them develop into future leaders , parents aspire for them to become.Rachel the manager is amazing, is intelligent, is straight forward, thorough, professional and listens to parents and carers as though she's listening to her own family.The staff are all incredibly supportive and love their jobs.My son has made drastical improvements ever since he joined the thrive Merrylands family, and my family is so grateful we found this amazing new family for him.

The educators have been amazing with our kids, who take longer to adjust to new situations than others. Most kids we see each day are happy and settled with each other and running into their rooms to see their friends. We hear lots of stories from ours, which give us a good insight into the day to day happenings and the political intrigues of 3-5 year old preschoolers.

Sending my daughter to childcare for the very first time was an overwhelming experience. However, the educators at Thrive Merrylands made us feel welcomed and continue to do so with smiles on their faces. As a result my daughter enjoys going to childcare. She has become more independent, creates friendships and engages in a range of meaningful conversations and experiences. Thank you to all the staff at Thrive Merrylands.

The team at Thrive are absolutely amazing!!! They are passionate about your child’s learning. They go above and beyond to help in the development of your child. The team are professional and are always willing to lend a helping hand when needed. Thrive Early Learning centre at Merrylands is the most incredible and welcoming centre I have ever been to. The centre leader Maggie is the most hard working person and kind hearted person you could ever meet, Thrive treats me like family and I couldn’t be any more happier, there isn’t any other centre I would go to the Thrive Merrylands, honestly I feel loved and cared for and all the staff are incredible. ❤️😊😊

My experience was as a grandparent I’m a first time grandmother I visited for possible enrolment for my granddaughter I’m an ECT iv worked in this industry for more than 20 years and only recently ceased employment so I am very aware of the NQF and all the requirements I was quite impressed with the overall appearance of the learning centres and play opportunities as well as the very friendly helpful staff

I must say that they really looked after my child and were very accomodating with casual days whenever i needed them! My son was generally a difficult child and very clingy to begin with (im being honest) but the centre became his second home… The centre leader Maggie is a sweetheart and the teachers are wonderful. The centre itself is clean and has a great outdoor play space… Highly recommend!

2 of my daughters went here for daycare. The teachers are very dedicated and caring. They are gentle with the kiddos but yet firm when teaching them boundaries. The centre head Maggie is very prompt and swift in resolving issues around billings or any enquiries that you have. The centre is also located in a super convenient location with easy parking. My daughter has attended Thrive Merrylands for nearly two years now and I've observed a noticeably positive change in her learning and development. The staff is very supportive and cooperative and also the activities arranged for children are great.The facility itself is very spacious and clean with a large outdoor area for kids to explore and play.

I have been sending my daughter since September 2020 , their educators are so cooperative and listen to parents , taking care of my daughter and helping with her learning and development activities so well. Daily activities with my child at Center really giving an outcome in my child learning and I can notice every day the way she is leaning good things in the Center.

My son went for 3 months and finishing in a week and I have seen alot of improvement in him. Hatsoff to the teachers & staff you guys are doing wonderful. I wish to send my child again.Please offer some assistance for the people who are not getting centreline link . Atleast ease the policy of atleast 2 days a week.

so far so good with this day care. It is the first time I have put my son into day care and at first I was abit anxious. We had moved interstate and I wanted to make it as easy for my son with a new area and people around him and I also needed to find work. So glad I put my big girl pants on and cut the cord with my son because he is thriving!!! I can’t thank the girls enough! Miss Jemima and Miss Ashley always get special mentions at home when my son is telling us about his day at school. He has learnt so much over the past year.I also enjoy receiving updates via the app everyday about what my son is learning and eating. This way when he comes home I can ask him about it and see his reaction almost like a “how did you know Mum?” Hehehe it allows me to show my son that I am engaging and I am interested in his learning. Bit of a cheat guide I say but so far From what my son tells me and judging by his behaviour and attitude. He’s a good kid and he seems to enjoy so that makes us happy

My three year old changed Centre and has been unsettled since. Thrive has been very professional and good to my daughter. They have listened to my feedback and has dealt with her accordingly. Jemmiama is a wonderful and loving pre school educator. Thank you for trying to make my daughter comfortable in the new environment.

We are really happy with Thrive MErrylands, the educators are caring, friendly and I would say 'loving' to the kids they look after. My child always feels welcome on this centre. He always feels excited meaning he is enjoying his stay. Short version - The centre is great, educators are great, and location is perfect. (close to transport and right on top of the shopping centre.)Long version -As a parent of 4 (2 attend this child care, the other 2 are in high school now) i totally get the challenges faced with balancing work and life. Part of this is finding a child care centre that has friendly staff - people that both i myself and the kids felt comfortable with.The two children have been attending for about 18 months.I have found the staff to be very friendly, both of the kids love most of the educators and get quite excited to go to 'school'.I have also witnessed other children of various ages being dropped off or have seen then playing in the play areas outside when i come to pickup mine and they all seem very happy.When i have arrived at the centre early or during mealtimes (prior to COVID) i saw that the kids had good healthy meals and snacks.If i had any questions or concerns i have always found these to be answered in a timely manner.Over the time, if any my children got hurt or sick i was always called promptly and advised of the situation.I was trying to think of an opportunity for improvement to include in this review - but nothing comes to mind, as any feedback i have provided has been taken on board and/or the 'issue' has not arisen again, but i put this down to actively communicating with the educators each day, as well as using the Kinder8 app to download reports each day so i know what is happening.
